Kavoor Government First Grade College is one of the recognized colleges in Mangaluru, Karnataka, with all affiliations to the Karnataka state universities, and it is accredited by NAAC. The college offers various undergraduate programs in Arts, Commerce, and Management streams with an open and fair admission process.

Admission activities will start somewhere in May-June after the announcement of 12th-grade results. Admissions will be merit-based as per the reservation and quota government norms for fair access to eligible candidates. The applicant is to be a successful 10+2 pass out from a recognized board.

Application Process

2. Application Form: The form may be downloaded from the website or obtained directly from the college.

3. Filling-up of the Form: All particulars in relation to the academic and personal life are to be correctly entered by the candidates into the form.

6. Merit List: The college announces the list of candidates on the basis of 12th standard marks and other eligibility criteria.

7. Counseling and Seat Allocation: By the merit and the availability of seats, shortlisted candidates will be called to counseling for the selection of their interested course.

8. Fee Payment: Candidates who are selected have fees specified to be paid during the stipulated date for keeping up with their admission.

Degree-wise Admission Process

BA application
Specialization courses in B.A. include History, Economics, and Political Sciences; History, Economics, and Sociology; and History, Journalism, and Optional Kannada
Eligibility: Candidates must have Arts or Humanities subjects in the 12th standard. Admission is merit-based, depending on qualifying examination performance.

B.Com. Program
Eligibility: Candidates belonging to a Commerce-related 12th standard passing, especially with Accountancy and other interested subjects, should apply. Selection will be done through merit.

B.B.A. Program
Eligibility: Students from any stream (Arts/Science/Commerce) can apply; however, preference will be given to those coming from a Commerce or Mathematics background. Admission is based on 12th marks.
