Government First Grade College, Nanjangud (GFGC Nanjangud) is a coeducational institution imparting undergraduate education in various disciplines. The entire admission procedure is quite elaborate and goes out of its way to ensure equality of opportunity for all eligible candidates. GFGC Nanjangud aims at achieving high standards in education while assisting in access to higher education.

Generally, the admission process at GFGC Nanjangud occurs during the months of May/June after the declaration of the results of 10+2 examinations. It admits students to various undergraduate programs like BA, B.Com, BBM, and B.Sc.

Bachelor of Business Management (BBM): This is a course open to persons interested in Business Management Studies. Admission to this course is based on merit in the 10+2 examination with priority being given to students who have studied Commerce or related subjects.

For B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce): The B.Com program at GFGC Nanjangud aims at training the next generation of professionals in Commerce. The admission criterion for B.Com is constituted by the performance in the 10+2 examination and admission would be based upon the merits of Commerce subjects and Mathematics.

B.Sc. Programs: The college offers two B.Sc. programs:

• B.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
• B.Sc. in Physics, Mathematics, and Computer Science
