Government First Grade College, Periyapatna is a self-financing institution located in a picturesque Periyapatna town in the Mysore district of Karnataka. Degree wise Admission Process

BA - History, Economics and Political Science: This program involves history, economics, and political science. Admission is based on the marks obtained in the 12th standard. Those who have studied either of the three subjects or other humanities subjects in their higher secondary education will receive preference during student admission.

BA - History, Economics, and Sociology: Like the program above, this course includes sociology along with history and economics. Admission considers the 12th standard marks, especially for relevant subjects.

BBM (Bachelor of Business Management): This program is for those who are interested in business and management studies. Admission for the program is by merit making assessment of the 12th standard marks but related to students coming from commerce or business studies.

B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce): B.Com course was meant for those students who would like to pursue a career in commerce and finance. Admission for this course is based on the marks obtained from the 12th standard, giving priority to those students who studied commerce or related subjects in their higher secondary education.
