Government Holkar Science College, Indore Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College library facility has numerous resources like textbooks, reference books and many more. There is a huge collection of bar-coded books, about hundreds of  thesis and projects based on science, more than three thousand journals, numerous state and national level newspapers and  magazines. About hundreds of CDs and cassettes, encyclopaedia, periodicals are also available in the library. The library reading hall has a seating capacity of a large number of  students and is fully wifi enabled. The college library is equipped with computers, where students can access online resources. Faculty members can also access thousands of  e-journals and  e-books with the username and password provided by the library.

The College laboratory facility has modern instruments and apparatus to help students in practical understanding of the subjects. There are a total 46 departmental laboratories in the college.

The College auditorium is very spacious and can accommodate a large number of people. The auditorium has 5 seminar halls. The auditorium is used for multipurpose activities like for organising events, seminars and lectures.

The college canteen has hygienically prepared food available for both students and faculty members.

The college has an on campus medical facility. The college also provides trained doctors and staff for any emergency.

The college IT infrastructure is equipped with computers and are well connected with the internet.

The College gym facility is available for both boys and girls. The college gym is equipped with modern equipment for workout.

The  College Indore sports facility has both indoor and outdoor games. The college outdoor games include football, hockey, cricket, baseball, basketball, handball, volleyball, kho-kho, kabaddi, tennis, whereas college indoor games include table tennis, badminton, chess, yoga, judo, kushti, etc. The students also have participated at various state/university, national and international level competitions and have won medals and awards.

The college provides hostel facility to students for accommodation of outstation students. The boys hostel facility comprises 30 rooms.

The college girls hostel facility also has 2 common rooms. The girls hostel provides comfortable accommodation to outstation students.

The college has 52 classrooms and 5 smart classrooms. The classrooms are designed as per the convenience of the students and faculty members.
