Government Zawlnuam College, Mizoram Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has a girls' hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students. A hostel facility is available, and currently, a hostel is occupied by some students from the neighboring state. Hostel facilities are provided to the students coming from distant places.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students. There is a PHC (Public Health Centre) not so far from the college. There is 1 Medical Officer, 2 Staff Nurses, 1 part-time nurse, 1 Pharmacist, 2dresses, and 1 Medical Laboratory Technician. Medical duties include consultation and treatment of patients, Blood / Urine tests, dressing, injections, stitching, removal of stitches, and minor operations. Under the PHC, there is a subcentre also with 2 Health Workers.

The college has a Gym facility for the students.

The college also has a well-equipped library building with an A/C facility, spacious enough for students who are interested in reading inside the library. The college has a well-equipped, fully air-conditioned library with a sizeable number of books comprising both prescribed and reference books. The researchers are free to avail the library facility, computer printer, Xerox machine, etc,. on request. 

The college has sports facilities for all students. Facilities for recreation like table tennis, caroms, and chess are available in the college to all the students and teachers free of cost.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure for the students. Computer Lab with Internet facility.

The college has a canteen to cater to the refreshment needs of the students, non-teaching staff, and faculty members.

The college has a convenience store facility for students. (like photocopying facility and stationery etc.)

The college has bank/ATM facilities for all students. Only one nationalized bank i.e., State Bank of India, with ATM facilities, is functioning in Zawlnuam.

The college has a parking space facility for its faculty, staff, and students. Parking space for two-wheelers and four-wheelers for faculty members and students.

The college has good networking for the alumni association.
