Government Aizawl College offers a B.Com programme. The college also provides a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) course. The admission to this course is also based on the candidate's CUET-UG marks. Students who have done their 10+2 with Commerce or similar subjects are eligible to apply for this course.

Academics
Looking at the previous ten decades, GAC is always amongst the top college when it comes to academics. Every from each stream we would have tons of students who are in the top ten or toppers. The teachers have great experience and their teaching skills are very good. From time to time the syllabus are updated so that the students can prepare ahead of the future.
College Infra
The college infrastructure is moderate. We have a basketball court, Table Tennis board, certain indoor equipment and the process for constructing other sports is ongoing. Classes are attached with Smart Boards, we have a big libraries (probably one of the best in Mizoram) and different hostels for both boys and girls where Wi-Fi is available.
Campus Life
The Campus Life at GAC is amazing, Every year GAC would host different functions where maximum participation are engaged. Also every year they would elect new Miss GAC and Mister GAC as well. This college has a good connection with its alumni's which is a plus point for the college in various fields. It is located on the outskirt of the city (i.e. new building) and the place is decent, peaceful and very safe as well.
Placements
Placement is moderate, some of them got placed even before sitting for the final semester (i.e. 6th Semester) while some of the get job after graduating. One big advantage of GAC is that certain banks are tied up with the college and those students who are from Commerce background and attained distinction marked are offer jobs at banks that normally starts around Rs. 35,000-Rs40,000)
Value For Money
The college fees, mess fees, hostel fees is not that costly nor that cheap. These fees depends upon the stream, depends upon the hostel as well. For BCOM, for three years we paid Rs. 1,80,000 and for hostel fees we paid around Rs.1,62,000. I think that the value for money for GAC is moderate (i.e. not that satisfied nor dissatisfied)

Govt Aizawl College as the name suggests is one of the top leading college in Mizoram. Excellence in academics and co-curricular activities, the college has maintain its reputation over the years. Most of the professor have PHD degree and the teachers do provide the students with all the important materials
College Infra
College infrastructure is moderate. We have basketball court, football field and tt board. We have a huge libraries and separate hostel for both boys and girls, and apart from the main college hostel, we do have numerous hostel that are linked with college and provide adequate resources
Campus Life
One of the most important aspect about GAC is the college campus life. People from different states in Mizoram gets to experience different events such as Science experiment competition, Mizoram dance competition, State wise singing competition etc.. GAC is located at the outskirt of the city where they make sure the students gets maximum satisfaction in terms of the venue and also makes sure that each students are well, safe and sound
Placements
Placements are poor as it does not provide 100% placements since it is not university. However talented students are taken into considerations and the placement teams tries to make the best out of it and they focus on these people. Average placement that they get is around 45,000
Value For Money
Cheap ỉn academics, hostels and mess is the absolute advantage about the college. The total cost of the admission for 3 years accumulates around to Rs 1,50,000and the mess fee for those who are staying in hostel for three year accumulates around 1,44,000 which is not that expensive as compared to other colleges regarding its mess and other facilities such as wifi, washing machine provided.
