Questions related to GSVM Medical College, Kanpur
if I score 500 can I get government college in uttarpradesh under state quota in general category
Hi
It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will get seat or not as cut off marks for medical colleges keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.
But when we go through previous data then it suggests that with 500 marks being from general category you may not get a seat in Government Medical College.
For example,
in neet 2019, lowest marks required for general category for getting a mbbs seat in government medical college under UP state quota was 575 marks and it was for Autonomous Medical College, Bahraich
But you have chances for Government quota seats in private medical college and deemed universities.
To get the list of colleges in which you have chances, you can go through our college predictor at

GVSM is a Government Medical College with 50th rank in medical so the cut offs are higher. The previous year cut offs are 561 for UR, 555 for OBC, 425 for SC and 218 for ST. Being a government college, the fee structure is feasible, it is almost 1.10 lakh for the entire course. The college has excellent faculties and they will guide you for the future. The college is attached to a hospital and the patient inflow is good. It provides good faculty, great clinical exposure, a strong theoretical base and especially a good student environment with a healthy alumni. It is a good medical college with a successful alumni base and provides enough industry exposure.
In how many marks we could enter in GSVM
