24 MonthsDiploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is a two-year full-time diploma program offered by the State Council of Educational Research and Training, Chandigarh, and approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
Eligibility Criteria
- A candidate should have passed graduation with a minimum of 50% marks in the case of the general category and 45% marks in the case of SC/ST/OBC/BC and physically handicapped candidates from a recognized institution. No candidate with a reappeared in the qualifying examination shall be eligible for admission.
- The candidate must have passed Punjabi up to the 10th standard.
- To ensure high-quality standards, any candidate who has not passed in the subjects - Science, English, Punjabi, Social Studies, Mathematics, and Hindi in the class 10th examination shall not be eligible for admission to the D.El.Ed. course.
Admission Details
Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of merit in the entrance test.
