Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants who have obtained a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in the Higher Secondary /Equivalent examination and a minimum of 30% marks obtained in a major subject (Hons.) will be deemed eligible.
- Applicants must also obtain a minimum of 30% marks (with qualifying marks in theory and practical separately) in Higher Secondary / Equivalent examination in the subject they are applying for.
- Applicants having Nutrition at the Higher Secondary / Equivalent examination must obtain a minimum of 30% in Nutrition. Those who are applying for Nutrition can do so even if they do not have the said subject, provided they have obtained a minimum of 30% marks in Biological Science/Botany/Zoology (with qualifying marks in both theory and practical separately) in the Higher Secondary / Equivalent examination.

Admission to the honours courses are made from the names of the applicants appeared serially in the merit list prepared on a rational and reasonable basis.
