The Handique Girls College 2026 first merit list was released on June 2, 2026.
very basic college infrastructure with all basic facilities availabe , we had a good library , our location is the best part about college , surrounded with alot of trees , however no smart classrooms are available
a very basic curriculum , college authority is unaware about what to opt , delegate and assign to students for their upcoming and ongoing semester , college authrity is very linient and lacking efforts to make students learning valueable
there's no such culture of placement , i might have rated zero , even a few colleges having less grading and brand than ours is providing placement oppurtunities to their students but our college is just not doing
nothing great to talk about the college infrastructure , okayish college infrastructure with basic facilities , nothing so say great to ttalk about , they afre providing us the basics and i think they think they are doing alot
averaage currciculum , including gtraditional way of teaching , not much emphasis on live projects or practical learnung , overall just a way of getting your degree completed and studying and learning through bookish way
no Placement oppurtunitites , they are providing nothing in the name of placement , they dont have any organised committee or cell for placements , the college doesnt shows any , interest efforts or initiative towards placement .
I did my graduation from in this college the college has a peaceful vibe and i always felt safe on campus which is important the buildings are a bit old so not like other college fancy classrooms are simple and i used the library a lot during exam.
studies were fine overall some teachers were really nice and explained things clearly while a few were just average if you attend classes regularly it helps but most of us still depended a lot on self study.
placements were not really a thing in our time hardly any companies come so we never counted on that most of my classmates chose to go for higher studies and some started applying for jobs on their own .
yes its value for money for only in studies not depend placements.
my college experience are good
It has most of the infrastructure needed like digital classrooms, air conditioners and they're alll in good working conditions. We have a big Library that has almost every book related to every course the canteen is nice and clean also we have sports equipments for us to use during free classes.
I am pursuing my BA Hons in Economics from there and my only reason for choosing it was because it is better than most colleges in Guwahati. The economics department is superb, faculty is really helpful and experienced.
I don't really have much ideas about placements as it's not an University but I've seen my super seniors who passed out from here doing exceptionally well in life. Many of the alumni came back here to work as research scholars and they're alll doing great.
The college is really cheap as compared any other private colleges. It's around 7.2k per semester and definitely value for money because we don't have to pay extra fees for anything and usually get all facilities available in our campus. The teaching staff is excellent and their work is commendable.
It's placed at a place that's surrounded by nature at all times. We have a basketball court and students usually play games during their off periods and for that we're provided equipments. The location is in the heart of GUWAHATI and definitely is safe. There's no issue with transport as well.
The college has a good infrastructure and also college is growing more with the new developments. It has a quite good area consisting different buildings for different subjects, library and canteen...
I'm currently studying BA psychology and Psychology department in Handique Girls college is one of the best department with outstanding results every year with the help of best and efficient teachers.
I do not hold informations regarding placements but our college do give importance to internships for students experience and development. A lot of time teachers themselves give students new ideas and updates regarding new internships.
Psychology in Handique Girls college is self - financed around 20,000 per year. I would prefer checking the correct amount in case if I'm wrong. And the money is complete worthy according to such efficient teaching.
The college campus is very neat and clean and also gives students a environment to play sports and to study as well.
It's a very good college especially for a girl.
Our college infrastructure is not that good classrooms needs renovation and new paint. And more classrooms. Canteen is good. Wifi doesn't work in whole college and network issues. Workers doesn't clean the classrooms. Washroom is very very dirty not hygiene at all
Im studying B.A political science because I have interest in this subject and will do M.A in international relations and phd in political science .Political science department is good over all here and good teachers and teaching quality is good
Placement wise I don't know much. Students mostly find there own placements in different different categories. College is not that supportive in placements. Student applying for teaching can get more placements here
The college could use some improvement. The college lacks the security and safety requirements considering that it's an all girls college. The college could use cleaning. Specially in the washrooms. They are so filthy.
Some professors are questionable but the other dew few remaining are fine. A particular professor insulted a girl really bad which was very unnecessary. And they don't value students time. They do as they please.
No placements. The college doesn't give out any placements. Neither do they recommend internships. Nor do they give any proper guidance. You're on your own once you're here. You have to figure out everything yourself.
It's a government college so it's budget friendly.
Not so good. It lacks the security and safety requirements considering the fact that it's an all girls college.
Handique girls college is a well maintained campus located in a prime location. It is an old campus , The classrooms and labs are decent but could use modernization. The library is well-stocked, and hostel facilities are available but limited. Basic sports and extracurricular spaces exist, but infrastructure improvements would enhance the experience.
Handique Girls' College has a decent academic reputation, but there are many areas that need improvement. The faculty is experienced in some departments, but in others, teaching methods can feel outdated. While the syllabus is well-structured, practical exposure is limited in certain subjects.
So far , it does not hold a good placement record. There have been no placement opportunities, with only one company visiting for internship. Most students have to rely on their own efforts, higher studies, or competitive exams to build their careers. Internship opportunities and career guidance are also limited.
Affordable admission procedure.
It's good.
Thr infrastructure is well maintaining and overall everything is well. Thr classrooms are well but with dusty benches and libraries do not have much books as required. Sports are there and that's why I like this college.
I'm studying Bachelor's of Arts, major in education. I've an interest in teaching. I'm planning to pursue master's in education as well. Being a teacher is my dream profession. The quality of education is really good. The professors are really cordial.
Unfortunately there's no placement in our college. However they provide support to take up various internships. The college also conducts various workshops and seminars regarding internship opportunities.
The course fees per year is very nominal as is it a government college under Gauhati University.
Campus is not that great and have scope for improvement.
I have a very nice experience here as I found my closest friends here and with whom I can enjoy my whole college days and also with them every day is a magical and the infrastructure were also very good
It's good only as whenever you are not attending lectured they try to give you summary the next day and also they provide you with notes and also the teacher staff were also very cooperative with students so overall it is very nice experience here
There is no such part in placement here so bad to look out to that as placement is something every student look at so college have to fulfill that needs of student as most of them look out to that in college
They have a value for money
Campus life is good as I found my bestf there also the students were also very cooperative and we also have a great fun in college fest nowadays it changes a alot as there is very positive vibes in every corner
Yes as a girls college we have the right ro wear as whatever dress we want to tho we have a uniform but wearing under a knee length.is too much as we are in college now so college should look up to that
