Harendra-Chitra College, Bhaktardoba. It is an affiliated college in Naligaon, Barpeta District, State of Assam. The university offers undergraduate courses in Arts and maintains a very simple and transparent admission process.  Generally, admission to Harendra-Chitra College begins after the announcement of the 10+2 or equivalent examination results. The basic qualification for seeking admission into undergraduate courses in Harendra-Chitra College is the successful completion of any recognized standard 10+2 or equivalent examination. Degree wise Admission Process

BA (Bachelor of Arts): Harendra-Chitra College has a general Bachelor of Arts course along with a number of specialized majors. Admission to BA programs is done on the basis of merit of the candidate pertaining to results of the 10+2 or equivalent examinations. The approved intake of the college for the general BA program is 2800 seats.

BA with Majors: The college also offers special BA programs that have majors in various subjects. The admission process for these programs will also be similar to the general BA program based on 10+2 results. Each major program has an approved intake of 60 seats. The available majors include:
