• The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Deemed to be a University has been accredited with an A+ grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in its third cycle.

IIFT or Indian Institute of Foreign Trade Kolkata an autonomous body under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India. The institute was established in 1963 and was granted deemed to be university status in 2002. Indian Institute of Foreign Trade was granted the AACSB accreditation in 2021. 

IIFT Kolkata offers various postgraduate, doctoral and PG Diploma in management, economics, international business, trade and finance. The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade Kolkata offers programmes such as MBA International Business, MA Economics, Ph.D Management, Ph.D Economics, Executive Post Graduate Diploma International Business, MBA International Business (Weekend), MBA International Business (Online), MBA in Business Analytics, Integrated Programme in Management and various certificate programme in Export Import Management. 

IIFT Kolkata placement cell organises training programmes, group discussions, mock tests and aptitude tests for the students. It is located at a distance of around 11.4 Km away from the campus. The Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport is the nearest airport which is located at a distance of 19.7 km. The institute is accessible from all routes. Students can book a taxi or cab from the airport or railway station to reach the campus.
