Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Management is a Part-time research course that shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work, and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned and offered by the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Delhi.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for applying to IIFT’s Ph.D. Program (Management) are the following:

A. INDIAN SCHOLARS (i) Ph.D. (Management) - Full Time and Part-Time (a) Master’s degree/M.Phil. degree in any discipline (including IIFT MPIB) from a recognized university with at least 55% marks or CGPA equivalent to B Plus in aggregate. OR Diploma courses that are considered equivalent to a Master’s Degree (e.g., PGDIM from IIMs) with 55% marks or CGPA equivalent to B Plus, recognized by AICTE/UGC would be considered. In such cases, candidates would be required to produce the necessary certificate(s) from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). (b) A relaxation of 5% of marks, from 55% to 50% may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/ OBC (non-creamy layer)/ and differently-abled and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the University Grants Commission (UGC) from time to time.

B. OVERSEAS SCHOLARS - Overseas candidates who are having Master’s/ M.Phil. A degree in any discipline from a recognized university with at least 55% marks or CGPA equivalent to B Plus in aggregate can apply only to IIFT’s full-time Ph.D. Program. • Minimum knowledge of spoken and written English is essential.

Admission Details

Ph.D. (Management) (Full Time and Part-Time) A two-stage process is followed for admission to IIFT Ph.D. Program (Management).

Stage I: All the eligible candidates will be called for the Written Entrance Test MCQ based comprising Basic Statistics, Logical Reasoning, Data Interpretation, basic Mathematics (up to 12th Standard), and verbal ability.

Stage II: Candidates who qualify for the Written Entrance Test will be called for the Interview.

Yes my college have all facilities And having also a good infrastructure in my college and all for the students facilities like a smart classrooms level Libraries laboratories sports center and the hostel has reduced for both boys and girls Yes my college have all facilities and all the facilities are used and well maintained.
