IIFT Kolkata Facilities

Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), Kolkata campus is spread across 7 acres of land with good infrastructure and wide range of facilities to meet the diverse needs of students and staff members. The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade Kolkata facilities include separate accommodation for boys and girls. Hostels at IIFT Kolkata are equipped with beds, mattresses, fans and chairs.

Indian Institute of Foreign Trade Kolkata library has around 107,641 resources, comprising 79,716 books and CDs, 17,796 bound periodicals, 350 Indian and 12,284 International Scholarly Journals (print and online), 11 National/International Magazines, and 19 Newspapers. Apart from these, IIFT facilities include a good IT infrastructure.

Boys Hostel
The college Hostel Rooms are allocated on Double or Triple occupancy basis at the sole discretion of the Institute. All hostels are equipped with Wi-Fi, CCTVs, RO water purifier, Geysers, Water Cooler, Washing Machines, Refrigerator, Microwave, Wheel Chairs, etc. Also, hostels have wardens who are responsible for the safety, security, and general welfare of the students.
Girls Hostel
The college Hostel Rooms are allocated on Double or Triple occupancy basis at the sole discretion of the Institute. All hostels are equipped with Wi-Fi, CCTVs, RO water purifier, Geysers, Water Cooler, Washing Machines, Refrigerator, Microwave, Wheel Chairs, etc. Also, hostels have wardens who are responsible for the safety, security, and general welfare of the students.
Library
The college has one of the largest of its kind in the developing world, with a holding of around 1,07,641 resources that comprises 79,716 book/CDs-volumes, 17,796 bound periodicals, 350 Indian and 12,284 International Scholarly Journals (Print + Online), 11 National/International Magazines, 19 Newspapers. with complete online cataloguing, the IIFT Library is a veritable storehouse of information
I.T Infrastructure
IIFT Kolkata recognises the importance of technology in education, IIFT’s Computer Centre has implemented the latest state-of-the-art IT infrastructure. IIFT uses IT to provide a competitive advantage in its core areas of education and research.
Medical/Hospital
The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is sufficient with all the basic amenities available. Hostel rooms are single occupancy but are a bit old. Everything is e functional in the room and hostel. Non AC rooms are there so that's a bit of an issue

College Infrastructure

College has all facilities including smart classrooms, clean hostels (single sharing accommodation for boys and double sharing for girls in Faculty Housing). Only drawback is it doesn't has its own ground, but has basketball court, badminton court and common rooms for table tennis and carrom.

Overall, my experience was ok.

College Infrastructure

As per no of intake of students, infrastructure facilities are quite good. Every students get single room for hostel accommodation. Classroom facilities are quite good. Area around the campus have not much facilities.
