Diploma in Food Production is a full-time one-year and six-month diploma course offered by the Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi.
Admission Process
Admission notification is issued in the month of May/June every year in leading national newspapers. The prospectus contains an application form for any one of the two courses offered. It can be obtained from the Institute’s Enquiry Counter on the payment of a fee/charge in cash, or by post, on the payment through a demand draft drawn in favor of the Principal, Institute of Hotel Management, Kufri, Shimla-12, payable at Shimla.
Eligibility Criteria
- A pass certificate of 10+2 examination or Senior Secondary or equivalent examination with English as a compulsory subject. (Foreign Nationals/NRIs may also apply.
- For General/OBC & Physically Challenged/Handicapped Category age of the applicant should not be more than 25 years.
- For the SC & ST Category age of the applicant should not be more than 28 years.
