Biotechnology blends the Biology and Engineering and aims at putting concepts of both of these together, in a bid to enrich our lives and make innovative developments, to make this world a better place by enhancing the quality of life and alleviating the human sufferings. Globally biotechnology is one of most expanding branch of science. It signifies the theoretical, applied and general skills along with scientific and technology disciplines.
Biotechnology deals with techniques of using live micro-organisms, plant, animal cells or the components from organisms to produce products and processes useful to human beings. It is an interdisciplinary science which imparts many opportunities to meet the challenges of the global scenario. Today it becomes the major scientific thrust both academically and commercially.
Eligibility Criteria
- Admission to the B.Sc. (Honours) Biotechnology course is open to students of the recognized board on satisfying the following conditions
- The candidate must have passed intermediate /10+2 with biology/biotechnology/math with at least 45% marks for general and OBC and passing marks for SC & ST candidates.
- Candidates appearing for 10+2 examination or awaiting their results are also eligible to apply. Their candidature, however, shall be considered subject to the clearance of the qualifying examination.
Admission Details
- The admission to the B.Sc. (H) The biotechnology program will be done on the merit (based on the aggregate marks at 10+2 level) declared by the CCS University. Interested Candidates can obtain Application forms from Admission Office at IMS, Ghaziabad. Candidates can also fill the online inquiry form on the website. Candidates seeking admission in B.Sc are required to meet the Admission Counselor in the Institute Premises.

College Infrastructure
The infrastructure is really nice,a student has all facility which he or she needs in a college and hostel there are air conditioned classrooms ,Wi-Fi services and library with proper book facility. There is a mess, canteen and a maggi hotspot for food facility all have good food with proper hygiene.

The college has a fully air -conditioned campus with Wi-Fi facility. The classrooms are equipped with every basic amenity such as live projector training, whiteboards, chairs and tables. Following this, the college has separate in-campus hostel for both boy and girls with three food junctions (Mess, Cafeteria, and Maggi Hotspot) which serves delicious, hygienic and homely meals.
