M.Sc Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing at Institute of Nursing Education, Bambolim, Goa Offline Course

a) A candidate to be admitted for the M.Sc. Nursing Program should

i) Be a citizen of India.

ii) Have passed the B.Sc. Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Program from a Nursing Institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council, with a minimum of 55%

aggregate marks.

iii) Be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife or equivalent.

iv) Have a minimum of one year of work experience in rendering nursing care services in a hospital /community area after completion of the B.Sc. Nursing program OR one – year before or after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing program.

v) Have completed the bond services/paid the bond amount as prescribed by the Government of Goa (applicable for candidates who have obtained the basic qualification from a government institution).

vi) Have resided in Goa for fifteen years.

vii)Be medically fit.

viii) Be a life member of the Trained Nurses Association of India.

b) Knowledge of Konkani/Marathi is desirable.

c) In-service candidates of state/central applying for admission should produce study permission/NOC obtained from the employer. Advanced copies of applications submitted by the candidates without study permission/NOC will be accepted. However, candidates should submit the same within 15 days of admission.
