36 MonthsDiploma in Mining Engineering is a three-year full-time course offered by the Directorate of Technical Education and Training, Cuttack, and approved bythe All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Eligibility Criteria
- Passed Class 10 (Matric / High School / SSC) from any recognised Board
- Minimum 35% aggregate marks in all subjects
- Must have studied Science and Mathematics at Class 10 level
- Age: Minimum 14 years as on 1st August of the year of admission
- No upper age limit for SC / ST / OBC candidates
- ITI (2-year) qualified candidates are also eligible for lateral entry
Lateral Entry (2nd Year Direct)
- Candidates with 2-year ITI in relevant trade can seek lateral entry
- Minimum 45% marks in ITI for general category
- Eligible for direct admission to 2nd year (3rd Semester)
- Seats reserved: 10% supernumerary over sanctioned intake
- Admission via DTET Odisha lateral entry counselling process.
