International School of Business and Media (ISB&M), Pune was established in 2000 by Dr Pramod Kumar. ISB&M offers a two-year full-time postgraduate diploma programme, approved by AICTE in Marketing, Finance, Human Resource, Insurance and Risk Management. The first PGDM batch was graduated in 2002 and in 2004, a campus was established in Kolkata. Later in 2005, another campus in Bangalore was established.
International School of Business and Media is located in Maharashtra and the nearest railway station is Dapodi, with a distance of 16.3 km. Students can hire a cab or an auto-rickshaw from the railway station and can reach the business and media school in around 40 mins. Pune International is the nearest airport and is 24.8 km away. TOFI- In this finance Cell, finance-related activities and events are conducted and also aims to strengthen the bond with industry.
I-Talk- It is a platform of the Intellectual Development Cell with a motto of fulfilling the intellectual needs of the students and aims to introduce the students to a number of motivational and influential speakers.
CSR Cell- This is a student-driven initiative that works towards making the world a better place to live in and the aim is to share what everyone has to bring some light and happiness into the lives of the less privileged.
Sporties- This cell offers facilities for outdoor and indoor games like basketball, volleyball, cricket, table-tennis etc and the main aim is to inculcate values of team spirit, hard work, enthusiasm and passion.
Digital Marketing Cell- This Cell works to increase the reach and visibility of ISB&M and promote cultural diversity along with individual enlightenment by working on social media marketing, blogging, display advertising, remarketing.
Marketing Club- It is a platform where students get an opportunity to blend marketing theories with the real-time application. Marketing Club organises quizzes, guest lectures, seminars, inter and intra-college competitions.
Medios- This is the Movie club of ISB&M with an objective of bridging the gap between the reel and real by introducing visual learning, wherein the aim is to enhance thinking abilities and help each student to develop a clearer perspective of life.
SCOM Cell- The full form of this Cell is the Supply Chain and Operations Management Club that provides the fundamental tools and resources to educate and establish networking opportunities to students within the business.
- GreyCaps Cell- This is a platform for all the students to enhance their knowledge through exercising their Grey Matter. It is an initiative to stay updated with the current happenings and changes in all fields around the students.
Exams and Cutoffs
Candidates seeking admission in the postgraduate diploma programme in management have to appear for CAT/XAT or ISB&M written competency test.
Candidates then have to apply online on the official website of the business school and submit the application form along with the required documents.
Subsequently, the shortlisted candidates have to appear for a group discussion, followed by a personal interview.
The weightage in the selection process is given below-

GD and PI: 40%
Work experience: 10%
The International School of Business and Media has various facilities like classrooms, computer labs, library and digital library, auditorium, hostel, conference hall, amphitheatre, swimming pool and cafeteria. Classrooms- The classrooms of ISB&M are equipped with LCD multimedia projectors, internet networked computers and public addressing systems with different microphones.
Computer Lab- The computer centre is equipped with power back-up of UPS, and Wi-Fi environment. Other facilities are Linux mail server, Anti-virus software (Norton, Symantec) and Firewall protection.
Library and Digital Library- The institute has a membership with the British Council Library. There is a large number of industrial databases and there is also a digital library which gives access to around 10,000 international journals online.
Auditorium- ISB&M has a fully air-conditioned auditorium with the capacity of accommodating more than 700 students, provided with audio & video facilities.
Hostel- A hostel facility for both boys and girls is provided on the campus. For the same, the students have to apply for the same at the time of admission.

In between International School of Business and media Pune and Sri Balaji Institute of modern management Pune no doubt Shri Balaji is better. Because sri Balaji has about 90% placement record with highest pacage of 10lpa.the infrastructure is good also. But one thing that minimum 90% of attendance is compulsory to be seated in placement cell.the faculties are too good in isbm placement rate is not too high. Hope this will help you
