Jayaraj Annapackiam College for Women, Periyakulam which is also known as JAC Periyakulam was established in the year 1971. It is an affiliated college of Mother Teresa Women's University, Kodaikanal (MTWU Kodaikanal). JAC courses consist of a total of 43 programmes in the disciplines of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences, Commerce, Sciences, Computer Application & Information Technology and Management & Business Administration. The courses are offered at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. Some of the courses offered are in BA Hons, B.Com Hons, B.Sc Hons, BBA, BCA, MA, M.Com, M.Sc, M.Phil, PGD, PGDCA and PhD degree courses. 

JAC Periyakulam admissions to the courses are done based on the marks of the previous qualifying examinations obtained by the candidates. Students interested in admission to the college must complete the admission process after ensuring that they fulfill the eligibility criteria.  

JAC campus size is about 58.74 acres and the JAC Periyakulam infrastructure consists of its academic & administrative blocks, laboratories, library, hostels, and more available on the JAC Periyakulam campus. The institute also offers other JAC facilities like hostels for students, a canteen, sports facilities, and IT Infrastructure.
