      The approved strength for the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) programme is 50. JB Teachers Training Institute admission process is merit-based, the same as that of B.Ed. Admissions are based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination (10+2) and/or entrance examination, in accordance with the policy of the state government. This is a two-year programme intended for candidates seeking a career as elementary school teachers.
