The Infrastructure is actually quite good.. i loved the sports academy the most as it genuinely had everything from gym to swimming pool to squash courts to badminton, basketball.. As a bookworm, I also love their huge library, which also has a section for quiet studying. The none of my core courses had any lab but during my psychology elective we did conduct an expirement in the psychology lab which was new and fun. Thier on - campus laundry service is also quite convenient and so is the courier office, where we can receive and get parcels from almost every e-commerce site.
Overall, JGU ha a total of 12 schools and 50+ programs across Law, Business, International Affairs, Liberal Art, and many more. It's almost like studying abroad with the kind of curriculum and faculty that there is. I like cross-electives the most as I can choose a course from any of the 12 schools while continuing my core courses. Many of my friends have also gone for sex ex and other study abroad opportunities to Japan, Geneva, Spain, Germany and others.
Office of Career Services OCS looks after the internships and career opportunities. they help connect you with various ngo, MNCs, or other corporate or government entities. They organise training and career guidance sessions for students to make them job-ready, like skill-building classes, guest talks, and mock interview preparation.
I mean, considering you are getting foreign-uni like experience at JGU... I think it's worth the money the money. You are getting everything and more from infra to the great campus like to great education. Moreover, you can explore your interests in various disciplines or extra-curricular activities through electives and student- led societies.
The campus feels like a mini city with cafes and renowed food outlets like Startbucks, Dunkin Donuts, Bercos, Dominos, Chicago Pizza, etc. I was a member of its annual fest and it genuinely taught me more than any book ever would. There are many student-led societies and events that happen frequently in the campus.. we've had guest lectures from Shashi Tharoor, Amitabh Kant, Sachin Pilot, Atishi, Arvind Subramanian among others. The campus also offers you space for quiet study time at the global reading room or other quiet spaces.
As a student of JGU, I really love the infrastructure. Classrooms and labs are well set up, and we actually use high-tech equipment to gain practical experience. JGU's Global Library is one of the best in North India, it is quite huge with lots of books and online learning resources, and the hostels, sports areas, cafes, and study zones make student life comfortable inside the campus. JGU is ranked among India's No.1 private universities and top in Asia, and once you enter, you understand why it is so.
Academics at Jindal Global University are more focused on practical learning. At JGU, students do research, discussions, case studies, and gain hands-on experience. Professors, through their distinct way of teaching, make the subjects easy to understand. Being part of JGU means. I can also take courses from other schools like journalism, economics, foreign affairs, public policy and more, which broadens my knowledge. JGU's strong academic setup, backed by its top rankings, international collaborations, and global exposure, makes the whole learning experience meaningful and truly world-class.
Placements at JSPC are good, especially with JGU's career support. Students complete internships during the course, and the office of Career Services provides support with CVs, workshops, and interview preparation. Recruiters from various domains hire Jindal students, including counselling centres, NGOs, research organisations, etc.
The entire experience offered at JSPC and JGU is worth the fees. It has been recognised as the "institution of Eminence" by the Government of India. The high-end labs, internships at some of the biggest comopanies, career guidance right from day 1, global exposure through immersion, and faculty from the world's top institutes make the entire experience worth every penny.
Campus life is one of the best highlights of studying at JGU. At JSPC, we are part of a rewarding and fulfilling ecosystem. For example, beyond academics like psychology talks, workshops and outreach activities, JGU is always bustling with fests. For sports lovers, there is extensive infrastructure, and fir those who want to do more, they can join clubs to explore different things. Not to mention the diversity that students will experience once they are inside.
