The college conducts moot court competitions and mock trials regularly as part of practical training for law students. It organizes a national moot court competition annually in International Law Fest “Anweshan”. The affairs of the Moot Court club are managed by an executive committee consisting of student representatives who are nominated by the head of the institution. There are also faculty advisors to guide and advise the executive committee.

The College has Alumni Associations.  Every renowned educational institution ought to have an alumni association that nurtures and fosters the alumni to keep alive the bonds created with the institution and its current students. Such an alumni association enables the building of professional networks amongst its diverse alumni and contributes to the institution and society at large. Jyotirmoy School of Education has formed its Alumni Association and the first alumni meeting took place on 28.05.2016.
