24 MonthsDiploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is a two-year full-time diploma program offered by the West Bengal Board of Primary Education, Kolkata, and approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
Eligibility Criteria
- Should pass the H.S. (+2) Examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board/Council/University with at least 50% marks in the aggregate of the best five. There is, however, a relaxation of 5% marks for the applicants belonging to SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PH/Ex-Serviceman categories.
- Should not be above 35 years of age (40 years of age for SC/ST/PH and 38 years for OBC-A & OBC-B)
- Must have studied that language at the Higher Secondary level as a compulsory subject for the medium of instruction he/she is applying for admission.
- Vocational courses passed (+2 Level) candidates should be eligible for this course.
Admission Details
Admission shall be made on merit based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the state government/UT Administration.
