    Bachelor of Arts (BA) Honours in Sociology is a full-time four-year undergraduate degree course offered by the University of Calcutta, Kolkata.


    Eligibility Criteria

    The candidates should be passed the Higher Secondary or Equivalent Examinations with at least either:                             

    • 45% marks in the aggregate and also 45% in the subject concerned, or
    • 40% marks in the aggregate and 50% marks in the subject
    • 50% marks in the aggregate for those Candidates opted for Hons. in any Social Science subjects have not opted for the concerned subject in their +2 level.
    • For SC/ST candidates the minimum marks for eligibility shall be 5% less.
