Kanak Manjari Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Rourkela was established in the year 1982. Kanak Manjari Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Rourkela is approved by PCI, New Delhi, Affiliated to OUHS, BPUT & OSBP, Odisha. The Institute has over 39 years of academic excellence in Pharmacy. The branches in which the courses are offered are Pharmacy, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology and toxicology.

Kanak Manjari Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Rourkela also called KMIPS Rourkela courses are Diploma, BPharma and MPharma. Admission into the diploma is given based on merit acquired in the qualifying examination whereas admissions into BPharma is given based on OJEE scores while admission into MPharma is given based on GATE/GPAT/PGAT scores.
