Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two-year full-time undergraduate course offered by Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, Chennai, and approved by the National Council for Teacher Education(NCTE).


Eligibility Criteria

The candidate who has undergone a 10+2+3 (15) or 11+1+3 (15) pattern of study and passed the X and XII examinations conducted by the respective State Board or CBSE or any other recognized Board of Education / Examination and UG Degree examination of the UGC approved Universities in any one of the school subjects offered by the Directorate of School Education at the Secondary /Higher Secondary Education level.

Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a degree course so the candidate must have at least a Graduation Degree or post-graduate degree with 50% marks for general candidates and 47.5% marks for SC/ST/PH candidates.

Admission Details

Admission Shall be Made on merit based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the state government/U.T. Administration and the university.
