Vocational semester system B.A History Programme was introduced in Kuriakose Elias College, Mannanam during the academic year 1999-2000. Till the introduction of this programme the faculty of History Department worked as the part of Economics Department of the College of which Rev. Fr. Mathew Velamkunnel, Rev. Fr. T.T Cherian Thalakulam retired from service and Dr. T.M. Mathew, Dr. Rosamma Mathew are still in service. Department of History was started in the year of 1999 under the headship of Dr. T. M Mathew. The Programme we offer is B.A History- Communication and Publishing Science. This Vocational Programme has three units- Core unit, Vocational unit and Complementary unit and two languages. This year the curriculum was revised by M.G University. It is now conducted on Credit System
Eligibility Criteria
A person, who have passed Higher Secondary/Intermediate (10+2) any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto, shall be eligible for the course.
