72 MonthsPh.D. program in Psychiatric Nursing shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned and offered by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore.
Eligibility Criteria
- A post Graduate qualification with at least 55 percent marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7- 7-point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) is eligible for enrollment for the Ph.D. course in Nursing. A relaxation of 5% marks, (from 55% to 50%), or an equivalent relaxation of grade, shall be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-abled and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the Commission from time to time.
- The eligibility marks of 55% (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) and the relaxation of 5% to the categories mentioned above are permissible based only on the qualifying marks without including the grace mark procedures.
- The candidate intending to register for the Ph. D. program shall appear for the entrance test conducted by the University and shall be qualified test with qualifying marks of 50% as a published list of RGUHS.
