Lokmangal College of Agricultural Biotechnology, Wadala, was established in the year of 2008, Solapur, Maharashtra, affiliated college. This school is co-educational and specialised in providing education on agricultural biotechnology; it has 2 baccalaureate programmes. Located on a fifty-acre campus the college has an aggregate enrolment of 134 students with eleven full time faculty members. The institute will ensure that it produces quality education in the area of concern which is agricultural biotechnology in order to respond to the dynamic nature of the challenges facing the agricultural sector.

There are many services available at Lokmangal College of Agricultural Biotechnology that staff and students can use to improve their learning. The campus facilities are comprised of fully equipped laboratories comprising of among others, the modern Central Instrumentation Laboratory housing; Gradient PCR, Nano drop spectrophotometre and Gel Documentation System. It serves as a resource centre with stocked books, journals and electronic resources in agriculture and related disciplines. For games and sports, the college offers facility for games like Cricket, Kabaddi, Football, Basket ball besides other indoor games. The campus also has an auditorium for holding programmes/invited lectures, separate hostels for boys and girls, multi-cuisine cafeteria, and a gym for the sports freak. In order to accommodate the health care needs of students the college has a clinic with a physician attending the college twice a week. The college is affiliated to Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri.

Lokmangal College of Agricultural Biotechnology offers two full-time undergraduate programmes: There are two courses that students can take, that is the B.Tech Biotechnology and the B.Sc Agriculture Biotechnology.  The two are four-year courses which aim at giving the students a stable footing in agricultural biotechnology. 

The admission criteria for both courses in Lokmangal College of Agricultural Biotechnology is specific entrance tests. The latest required tests for admission to various levels consists of MHT–CET, JEE Main, NEET, and ICAR AIEEA–UG conducted by competent authorities for admission to various levels.
