The Medical Record Section maintains the comprehensive data of patients of the hospital in a way that facilitates scientific preservation and smooth retrieval of record for future use. Recognizing its importance, a full-fledged department with adequate space was set up in the OPD building. Computerization of the medical records was started in the year 2000. Presently, all records of Indoor and OPD patients are systematically preserved and updated in computerized format.

The college has sports facilities for all students.

The Central Library of the Institute was set up in the year 2001. Currently, it holds more than 11,000 books which can be classified under the following disciplines - Psychiatry, Clinical Psychology, Psychiatric Nursing, Psychiatric Social Work, General Medicine, Pathology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, and Radiology. It also has a good collection of books on literature, encyclopedia, computer, poetry, short story, etc.

The college has a boy’s hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.
