Maharajahs College of Pharmacy, Phool Baugh Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has a hostel facility for boys separately on campus. The boy's hostel can accommodate nearly 90 students. Separate wardens are appointed to look after the welfare and needs of the students in these hostels. Adequate medical facilities are also available for hostilities.

The college has a hostel facility for girls separately on campus. The girls' hostel can accommodate about 140 candidates. Separate wardens are appointed to look after the welfare and needs of the students in these hostels. Adequate medical facilities are also available for the hostilities.

The college has a health center with a visiting doctor. A qualified and well-experienced medical officer looks after all the health service needs of the students, teaching, and non-teaching staff. The MIMS, which is attached to the Medical College, has agreed to attend to all the emergency cases.

The college has a Gym facility for the students.

The College has Pharmacy Library is one of the best Pharmacy college libraries in the state. It is committed to achieving the highest standards in the provision of information resources and services to advance the teaching, learning, and research of the college. It started its function with a vision to serve the information needs of its users, and it mainly holds books related to pharmacy and allied subjects. It has a huge collection of classics and the latest books on Pharmaceutical Sciences and is equipped with internet facilities. The library has to subscribe to full-text Online Databases like Bentham Science Pharmacy collections and have the membership of DELNET (Development Library Network). A Digital Library is established to access E-journals.

The college has a well-developed sports field of 3.84 acres of land in which students can play cricket, volleyball, hockey, football, kho-kho, kabaddi, shuttle and badminton, ring tennis, etc. A qualified physical director trains the students in various sports and takes care of the sports activities of the students. The college also has facilities for indoor games such as chess, caroms, etc. Women students have a separate hall upstairs of the canteen with sports facilities during recess.

The college has a well-maintained canteen with a plinth area of 6000 ft. It serves snacks, tea, coffee, bakery products, and meals in a hygienic atmosphere during working days.

The college has an Alumni Association. The college is constituted and registered as a society with number 50/2010. All students are requested to register in the Alumni Association of the college by paying a nominal fee after the completion of their studies. The association will hold periodical meetings for which they will receive due information at the address given at the time of registration.

The College has a National Service Scheme (NSS) is an Indian government-sponsored public service program conducted by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt. of India. Popularly known as NSS was launched in Gandhiji’s Birth Centenary Year 1969. Aimed at developing students’ personalities through community service, NSS is a voluntary association of young people in Colleges, Universities, and at the intermediate level, working for a campus-community linkage. The cardinal principle of the NSS program is that it is organized by the students themselves, and both students and teacher,s through their combined participation in community service, get a sense of involvement in the tasks of nation-building.
