Diploma in Physical Education (D.P.Ed) is a two-year full-time diploma course offered by the State Council of Education Research and Training, Gurgaon.

Eligibility Criteria

Senior Secondary School (+2) or its equivalent examination passed with at least 50% marks.
However, 5% relaxation be given to those who have participated in International/National/SGFI/Sports Competition.
In addition to the fulfilment of the Academic qualification and sports eligibility, the candidates must qualify for the Physical Efficiency Test (Canadian Test). However, no marks shall be given for this test.
Every student will submit a medical fitness certificate at the time of admission.
Married Female selected candidates will have to submit a certificate from the SMO/MO of the civil hospital that she is not in the family way. She will have to submit an undertaking that if, during the course of study, it is found that she is in the family way, her admission will be cancelled.
The relaxation in the percentage of marks in the qualifying examination and in the reservation of seats for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and other categories shall be as per the rules of the Central Government/State Government, whichever is applicable.

Admission Details

Admission shall be on a merit basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and or in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the State Government/UT administration and the University.
