About Mahendra Engineering College, Namakkal
Mahendra Engineering College Namakkal also known as MEC Namakkal was established in 1995 under the name of the Mahendra Educational Trust. MEC Namakkal offers 16 B.E/ B.Tech degree in UG courses, and the 7 degree courses in M.E/ M.Tech, MBA and MCA in PG courses with the courses duration varying from 2 years to 4 years. The entrance exams accepted by the institute are TNEA and TANCET followed by the TNEA and TANCET counselling.
For admissions to B.E/ B.Tech, ME and MBA and MCA courses the MEC Namakkal accepts counselling conducted by DOTE & DOCE. Based on the data provided by the NIRF 2024 report, a total of 1,112 students were placed during the MEC placements drives 2023.
Some of the top recruiters are IBM, Cognizant, Capgemini, Thoughtworks, Juspay and more that participate in the MEC Namakkal placements drives.
Mahendra Engineering College Namakkal has been approved by All Indian Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and it has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an ‘A’ grade. Peaceful infrastructure. College has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. Wi-Fi is available in the college. All the living spaces are clean and food available in canteen is do not have college hostel. Hygienic. We Mainly griet is known for placements. Placement training will be given for all the students from different branches from 2-2 itself. Nearly 60-70 % students get placed every year. Average package is 6-9 Lacs.

In our campus Wi-Fi facilities for students is available totally 7 computer labs, 3 robotics lab with artificial intelligence and inside the campus one clinic is available and library is all so very good, well checked quality food is provided by management.
