The Mahendra Engineering College, Namakkal or MEC Namakkal courses are offered in full time mode at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the disciplines of Architecture & Engineering, Management & Business Administration and Computer Application & IT. The MEC UG courses include 15 programmes in B.E/ B.Tech degree courses with a duration of 4 years in total. And the MEC PG courses consist of 7 programmes in M.E/ M.Tech degree course, an MBA degree course which lasts for about 2 years and an MCA degree course with a duration of 3 years. And lastly, MEC fees structure for the said courses varies from Rs 35,000 to Rs 2,00,000.

Rs 2,00,000 | Candidates must have passed 10+2 with at least 45% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry combined. | |
Rs 50,000 | Candidates must have completed and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields with an aggregate of 50% marks. | |
Rs 35,000 | Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree of 3 years with a minimum of 50% marks. | |
A 3 year Bachelor’s degree in either BCA or B.Sc with at least 50% is required. |
Reserved category candidates will be given a relaxation of 5% to be eligible for MEC admissions to the above mentioned courses.
