I'm persuing B.A. Hons from there. The faculty is well qualified here and dedicated to towards teaching. I choose this course because it is perfect as per my interest and my career choice. Yes i think my studies will make me job perfect.
The placement cell of our college is really very active. They provides great opportunities to students as their jobs and internships. Well reputed companies visits here for the placements. It is very useful for each and every student.
The money we spend here is totally worth it. The fees is not that much costly. It is affordable by everyone. Being a govt college compared to a private colleges it is much more affordable.
I haven't spent that much time in the college campus because of this Covid period. I only visited to my college once it was a great experience being there in the campus.
The campus is beautiful and has well equipped laboratories and sports center. The campus is clean and is maintained well. The food provided in the canteen is hygienic and tasty. The campus has an excellent library with over 1lac books for students to access.
The course I am enrolled in is BA Economics Hons. The quality of teaching is very good the professors are excellent at their subjects and always happy to help with anything. The curriculum is well updated.
The placement opportunities are great and a lot of internships are provided to students to gain the experience and exposure. The college is supportive and the cell makes sure that the placement process is easy and smooth for all students.
The cost per year is around 7000 rupees and with the vibrant campus life and great supportive professors, it is definitely worth the money.
Campus life is very beautiful and vibrant. It is located in Chanakyapuri which is a great location and is a safe area. The staff and teachers are very helpful.
Many fests and competitions are organised and societies are very active. Certainly one of the most fun college to be a part of.
The infrastructure of Maitreyi College is amazing with the typical red brick look. Most beautiful part of the college is the greenery all around the campus with beautiful flowers. The garden is the favorite part time of all the students. Classrooms are spacious, labs are well maintained and canteen is also decent. Crowd is really very good. College societies are very active.
The faculty here is experienced and well qualified. The professors are bit strict too and therefore the environment of the college is studious too. You need to work hard to get good grades in internals as the college is very strict in terms of attendance. No proxy is allowed.
Placements cell of our college is active. Placements depends upon your course. From commerce and arts the placements are okay but for science it' not up to the mark. You need to enhance your CV for getting placed.
Yes, studying here is value for money.
I genuinely love the infrastructure and maintenance of the college. Extremely overwhelmed by the facilities of big staunch library, huge classrooms, and amicable surroundings. Canteen is also quite student friendly but sometimes I felt the discipline in canteen area can be regularized.Else the college is upto the mark .
I admire the curriculum and teaching concepts of Maitreyi. Not so overwhelming neither outdated, a perfect balance.I also feel the need of direction boards to be placed for better navigation. Somehow the green pastures are really pleasing.
It depends on the student as what they can make it out of the facilities available here. Otherwise plenty of opportunities are given here, without a doubt. I feel they can do better in the sphere though.
Really affordable, cheap and no pressure on pockets. It is government college so it has to be like that. But money will never be the problem here in Maitreyi.
Lots of hangout places within a distance. Big spaces inside college. Overall it will be fun. Teachers are really very supportive if you put out your problem. Chill environment.
College campus is very spacious and it's infrastructure is great among many DU colleges. Classrooms are well-lit and well-maintained. There is wifi facility available throughout the college. The canteen is good and provides hygienic and tasty food and that too at an affordable price. The college also has beautiful gardens. Labs and libraries are well-equipped.
I did Economics Honors from Maitrey College. Teachers were very understanding and supportive. Maitreyi has one of the best teachers of Delhi University. The curriculum was also good and relevant to the field.
There is no placement for this course. It is because no companies offer job opportunities to art students. However, for other courses, placement record is very good. It is because of the efforts of the placement cell of the college.
Maitreyi college has good infrastructure and the campus is quite big. It has beautiful looking and well-maintained gardens and flowers all around. Library is big and clean and is fully air-conditioned. Some of the classrooms are not quite well maintained. College has wifi facility but only faculties can access it. Canteen serves great and hygienic food.
I am studying BA Prog (History + Political Science). We have one of the best teachers with many years of experience. Most of them are really cooperative. BA Prog will definitely not make me job-ready. Also, I wish to pursue journalism ahead. Maitreyi college offers short term courses as well in this field. The curriculum does prepare me for the future.
Placements in Maitreyi are quite high as it offers many courses. The placement cell is very active and they are very well connected with the industry. Even they arranges for firms to get interns from out college. Annual placement fair is conducted where many companies visit the college and students participates, appear for interviews and gets placed.
Fess structure of maitreyi is very affordable. My course cost INR 5670/- per semester which is nominal.
Campus life is amazing at Maitreyi. There are so many societies and clubs to join. I am personally from Abhivyakti - Theatre society. There are clubs like achievement cell, film club, etc. Location is at the center of Chanakyapuri which comes under one of the posh areas. There are Embassies around our college and public transport is easily available. It is ata a walking distance to Satyaniketan, which is a food hub for college students.
The college has all the facilities available. Labs, auditorium, canteen, cafeteria, seminar halls, library etc. It's well constructed. It has greenery in almost every corner. Perfect place to study or chit-chat.
Studies are taken quite seriously. Proper assessments are conducted each semester. The teachers are well qualified and are happy to discuss doubts even after your classes. The curriculum is not that updated.
Placements are quite average. Decent companies come for hiring. I would prefer you to look for off campus placements and not rely on the college entirely. Placement cell is quite supportive and trying their best!
Courses aren't expensive at all.
The area is quite good. Surrounded by the embassies. Satya niketan is 10 mins away. A perfect spot to hangout after classes.
Maitreyi has one of the best infrastructure, and also the most beautiful gardens. Classrooms are well lit and airy with projectors. There is WiFi coverage on the whole campus. The food is hygienic and good. If you ever come here do not forget to try chole bhature and aalo puri.
Maitreyi is graded a Start grade college by DBT with NAAC grade A+. It is definitely a great place to study. Here all the teachers are good and your studies will be taken very seriously, but you'll also be given a lil' time to slack.
There is a placement cell present in Maitreyi, which conducts various internships and job fairs throughout the year. Many reowned companies come in those fare and hire both interns and employees, besides that there are other placement events also.
The course fee of Maitreyi is one of the least in whole DU colleges.
There are various active societies and many clubs, and the annual fest Rhapsody is very very exclusive and to die for.✨
Our College has good features of labs, library, garden and fields. Overall it's a beautiful college which develops you in whole different aspects. They have the best aloo puri and pav bhaji I the cafeteria. The garden region is a good place to chill out and for some photo session as well.
Most of the lecturers are very helpful in guiding us. They provide is various reaseatch projects which we can work on.. Science labs are very efficient and practicals are taken very seriously so it's a good environment to study there.
I hv not so much experience about placements. But we do get chances to get a lot of opportunities to appear in a internship program. The placement department provides many opportunities and also it explains to how we can explore other fields as well.
It has the best fest in the DU in my opinion. You will love the vibe here..
Yes it has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment available. All the classrooms are well maintained even labs and offices. Wifi facility is available. Living spaces are clean and food hygienic.
