I am pursuing a B.A. Programme with English as my major subject because I have a strong interest in literature, language, communication, and critical thinking. The course provides a good balance between theoretical knowledge and practical understanding, helping students develop analytical and writing skills.
The quality of teaching at the college is good. Most faculty members are knowledgeable, supportive, and encourage student participation through discussions, presentations, assignments, and projects. Sometimes they may be harsh with the IAs and CAs but they are understanding too. They are approachable and guide students both academically and professionally.
The curriculum is regularly updated according to the guidelines of the University of Delhi and includes contemporary topics relevant to current academic and social developments. It helps students gain subject knowledge as well as transferable skills such as communication, research, and teamwork. Overall, the academics at the college provide a strong foundation for higher studies and future career opportunities.

The faculty is highly qualified and very supportive. They are always approachable and genuinely help students with both academic and personal concerns. The student union is also quite active and helpful—they take student issues seriously and try to resolve problems efficiently.The societies in the college are very active and provide great exposure in different fields like cultural, academic, and extracurricular activities. The campus atmosphere overall is vibrant and engaging.
College Infra
Maitreyi College offers a really positive and enriching college experience. The infrastructure is excellent, with well-maintained buildings and beautiful gardens that create a peaceful environment for students to study and relax... Library of maiteryi college is top notch like there is a peaceful and studious environment and also there is a digital library in maitreyi in which students can learn using digital devices like laptop, computers etc. But there are a few areas that need improvement. The condition of the washrooms and the canteen facilities is not up to the mark.
Campus Life
I personally believe that college life at Maitreyi College is very enjoyable and fulfilling. No it is not compulsory to include maths in the best of four marks for studying bcom hons in delhi university. You just need to have compulsorily studied maths in class 12th to opt for bcom hons but it's marks are not
