The college infrastructure is well-maintained and provides a comfortable learning environment. Classrooms are spacious, clean, and equipped with the necessary facilities. The library has a good collection of books and study materials. Wi-Fi is available in most areas, and the campus is clean and secure. The sports facilities and common areas are also well maintained, making student life convenient and enjoyable.
I am pursuing my course because it aligns with my interests and career goals. The faculty members are knowledgeable, supportive, and always willing to help students. The curriculum is regularly updated and covers both theoretical and practical aspects of the subject. Various seminars, workshops, and academic activities help students gain exposure and improve their skills beyond classroom learning.
The college provides placement support through training sessions, career guidance programs, and skill development workshops. Many reputed companies participate in placement drives and offer opportunities to students from different courses. The placement cell actively helps students prepare for interviews, group discussions, and aptitude tests. Overall, the college makes sincere efforts to improve students' employability and career prospects.
The college offers excellent value for money considering the quality of education, facilities, and opportunities provided. The fee structure is affordable compared to many other institutions. Students get access to experienced faculty, a good learning environment, extracurricular activities, and career guidance. Overall, the benefits and exposure provided by the college justify the amount spent on the course.
Campus life is vibrant, engaging, and enjoyable. The college organizes various cultural events, fests, competitions, seminars, and extracurricular activities throughout the year. Students get opportunities to participate in societies and clubs based on their interests. The faculty and support staff are cooperative, and the campus atmosphere is friendly and safe. It is a great place for both personal and academic growth.
My overall experience at the college has been very positive. The institution provides a healthy balance between academics and extracurricular activities. The faculty members are supportive, the campus environment is welcoming, and students receive numerous opportunities to learn and grow. I would recommend this college to students looking for quality education, good exposure, and a supportive learning environment.
Yes, Maitreyi College has most of the necessary infrastructure, facilities, and equipment required for academic and extracurricular activities. The college has well-maintained classrooms, a fully equipped library with a wide range of books and digital resources, science and computer laboratories, seminar halls, and a Wi-Fi-enabled campus. The college also provides sports facilities, a gymnasium, a cafeteria, and medical support for students. The campus is clean, green, and spacious, creating a comfortable environment for learning. The laboratories and library are regularly updated and are useful for students' academic needs. While the overall infrastructure is good, some classrooms and student facilities could be further upgraded to enhance the experience, and the point point is that it is replacing with time. Overall, I am satisfied with the infrastructure and would rate it 4 out of 5 stars.
I am pursuing a B.A. Programme with English as my major subject because I have a strong interest in literature, language, communication, and critical thinking. The course provides a good balance between theoretical knowledge and practical understanding, helping students develop analytical and writing skills. The quality of teaching at the college is good. Most faculty members are knowledgeable, supportive, and encourage student participation through discussions, presentations, assignments, and projects. Sometimes they may be harsh with the IAs and CAs but they are understanding too. They are approachable and guide students both academically and professionally. The curriculum is regularly updated according to the guidelines of the University of Delhi and includes contemporary topics relevant to current academic and social developments. It helps students gain subject knowledge as well as transferable skills such as communication, research, and teamwork. Overall, the academics at the college provide a strong foundation for higher studies and future career opportunities.
The placement opportunities at the college are moderate. While Maitreyi College is primarily known for its academic environment, the Placement Cell actively organizes placement drives, internship opportunities, career guidance sessions, and skill-development workshops for students. Many students also secure internships and off-campus opportunities through their own efforts and networking. The percentage of students placed varies across courses and academic years. Students from fields such as commerce, economics, and computer-related disciplines generally receive more placement opportunities, while students from humanities often pursue higher education, competitive examinations, internships, or other career paths. Several reputed companies visit the campus for recruitment and internship drives. The college also focuses on enhancing students' employability through seminars, training programs, and personality development sessions. Overall, the placement support is satisfactory, but students who actively build skills and gain internship experience tend to achieve better career outcomes. I would rate the placement opportunities around 3.5 to 4 out of 5 stars.
The annual fee for my B.A. Programme course is approximately ₹11,500–13,000, which is quite affordable compared to many other higher education institutions. Considering the quality of education, experienced faculty members, library resources, campus facilities, extracurricular opportunities, and exposure through various societies and events, I believe the course offers good value for money. As a constituent college of the University of Delhi, Maitreyi College provides quality education at a reasonable cost, making higher education accessible to students from diverse backgrounds. The affordable fee structure, along with the academic and personal development opportunities available on campus, makes the investment worthwhile. Overall, I am satisfied with the return on investment and feel that the college provides good value for the fees charged.
The campus life at Maitreyi College is vibrant, engaging, and student-friendly. One of the best features of the college is its green and well-maintained campus, which provides a pleasant atmosphere for learning and socializing. The college has active societies and clubs related to culture, academics, social service, debating, music, dance, sports, and entrepreneurship, allowing students to explore their interests beyond academics. Students can participate in various events, fests, workshops, seminars, competitions, NSS activities, and community outreach programs throughout the year. These activities help in personality development, leadership building, and networking with peers from different backgrounds. The college environment is inclusive and encourages students to balance academics with extracurricular involvement. While the campus infrastructure and facilities are generally good, some students may feel that there is room for improvement in certain amenities and common spaces. Overall, the campus life is enjoyable, enriching, and offers numerous opportunities for personal and professional growth.
One thing I would like to highlight about Maitreyi College is the sense of freedom and confidence it provides as a women's college. The environment feels safe, supportive, and empowering, allowing students to express themselves freely without the pressure of constant judgment. This atmosphere has been one of the most valuable parts of my college experience.
Maitreyi College offers a really positive and enriching college experience. The infrastructure is excellent, with well-maintained buildings and beautiful gardens that create a peaceful environment for students to study and relax... Library of maiteryi college is top notch like there is a peaceful and studious environment and also there is a digital library in maitreyi in which students can learn using digital devices like laptop, computers etc. But there are a few areas that need improvement. The condition of the washrooms and the canteen facilities is not up to the mark.
The faculty is highly qualified and very supportive. They are always approachable and genuinely help students with both academic and personal concerns. The student union is also quite active and helpful—they take student issues seriously and try to resolve problems efficiently. The societies in the college are very active and provide great exposure in different fields like cultural, academic, and extracurricular activities. The campus atmosphere overall is vibrant and engaging.
Placements at Maitreyi College are decent, especially for students who are proactive and build their skills alongside academics. The college has a Placement Cell that organizes workshops, internships, and placement drives to help students get exposure to the corporate world. Many reputed companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering roles in fields like marketing, finance, HR, and content creation. However, compared to top DU colleges, the placement opportunities are somewhat limited, and the average packages are moderate.Overall it's satisfactory but not something that extra ordinary.
I believe that colleges like Maitreyi College truly offer great value for money. The infrastructure is very good, the faculty is highly qualified and supportive, and the overall environment of the college is peaceful and conducive to learning. When compared to private colleges, the fees are quite affordable, yet the quality of education, exposure, and campus experience provided is impressive. Overall, it strikes a good balance between cost and quality, making it a worthwhile choice for students.
I personally believe that college life at Maitreyi College is very enjoyable and fulfilling. The societies are highly active, which gives students plenty of opportunities to participate and grow beyond academics. There are regular co-curricular activities happening in the college, along with exciting departmental fests that keep the campus lively. One of the highlights is the annual fest Rhapsody, which is truly amazing and often exceeds expectations. It brings a lot of energy, creativity, and talent to the campus. Along with this, many competitions are organized within the college, allowing students to showcase their skills and gain confidence. Overall, the college life at Maitreyi is vibrant, engaging, and full of opportunities for personal and social development.
Ris
The college is well-maintained with clean toilets and good staff and college is red coloured with big bricks and many peacocks live in the campus which adds value and beauty to the overall campus in a good way
The teachers here address the problem with good image and allows student to understand them and help with the things you need helped for and allows you to keep up with the problems and peers try to help you out anytime you need help
The placement are not very satisfactory as after undergraduate degree its difficult to get placement and doesn't have a open environment for things that need to be discussed and only focus on academic and not character part
The college is a government college so the cost of fee is very low
The people here are friendly and caring and kind and allows you to be in your own character
The college is good with staffs and members and fest are very goood here
College has green, spacious and well maintained campus that feels safe and comfortable. The labs and classrooms of the newer block are in good condition, though the old building, library and common facilities still need renovation.
Academics are decent with experienced and supportive faculty across most departments. Societies are really good except a few of them giving better exposure. College does not provide a lot of internship and research opportunities.
Placements are decent but not exceptional. Commerce and science courses see better opportunities as compared to humanities courses. Outcome largely depends on individual efforts and skill building. Overall it is decent.
According to price a big yes!!

Maitreyi College is a women’s college under the University of Delhi, known for a safe, green campus and active student life. It offers courses in Arts, Commerce, and Science. The general vibe from students is mixed to positive some love the environment and faculty, while others feel sections of infrastructure and placements could improve.
Many students say the faculty are knowledgeable, supportive, and approachable. Teachers often provide extra guidance and are good with academics in subjects like English, Economics, and Sciences. .....
Placement support exists, especially in Commerce & B.Sc. courses, but opportunities vary by stream. Average packages, where available, are reported around ₹3–6 LPA, with top offers for some students; internships are also provided but often unpaid.
The infrastructure of the college is average but nice. The campus is very beautiful with gardens and greenery everywhere. It gives a peaceful and fresh environment. The library is good and helpful for students. The college also has courts and open spaces for activities. There are many classrooms, so big batches are managed easily. Labs are available and classrooms have projectors for teaching. Wi-Fi facility is also provided in the campus. However, the washrooms can be better and the canteen is not good at all and needs improvement. Overall, the campus is green, calm, and good for daily college life.
I am studying B.Sc. Mathematics Honours because I love calculations and problem solving. The academic experience in the college is good. The faculty is great, very supportive, and always ready to help students. Teachers explain concepts clearly and help a lot when we have doubts. Proper procedures are followed for classes, internal assessments, and exams. Regular lectures, tutorials, and assignments are conducted. I think the course and teaching methods can help make students job-ready. Overall, the academic environment is disciplined and helpful for learning.
Placements in Maitreyi College are decent but mainly strong for commerce courses. Most placement opportunities are for B.Com and B.Com Honours students. Around 60–70% of students who apply for placements get selected. The average package is around ₹5–6 lakh per year, while the highest package has gone up to around ₹7–10 lakh+ in recent years. For science and arts students, placements are limited, so many students prepare for higher studies, competitive exams, or off-campus jobs. Overall, placements are okay but can be improved for all courses.
The yearly fee for my course is around ₹16,690, which is quite affordable compared to many other colleges. I feel the course is value for money because we get good teaching, proper academic structure, labs, library facilities, and a peaceful learning environment at a reasonable cost.
Campus life in Maitreyi College is good and peaceful. The campus is green and beautiful. Exposure is great as many societies and workshops are organized. Students can actively engage in different societies. I am also a part of the Fashion Society, which gives good exposure and learning opportunities. Students are friendly and teachers are supportive. The environment is safe. One difficult part is that sometimes it is hard to make strong connections. Overall, campus life is enjoyable.
Overall, college life becomes really enjoyable when you make friends, take part in different societies, use the exposure you get, and believe in yourself.
I study at Maitreyi College, and the infrastructure here is quite satisfactory. The campus is clean, green, and well-maintained, which creates a pleasant environment for daily college life. Classrooms are spacious, properly ventilated, and suitable for regular teaching. The library is one of the strongest facilities, with a good collection of books and a quiet space for self-study. There are common rooms, a canteen, and open spaces where students can relax between classes. Overall, the infrastructure supports both academics and comfort, making the campus feel safe and organized.
Academically, my experience at Maitreyi College has been positive. The teachers are well-qualified, supportive, and approachable, which makes learning easier. Classes are conducted regularly, and the syllabus is covered in a structured manner. Internal assessments, assignments, and presentations help in maintaining consistency throughout the semester. The college also encourages participation in seminars, workshops, and academic discussions, which adds depth to classroom learning. Teachers are helpful during exams and guide students properly. Overall, the academic environment motivates students to take their studies seriously while also developing critical thinking skills.
Placements at Maitreyi College are decent, especially for students who actively participate in skill-building activities. The placement cell works to provide internship and job opportunities, mainly in sectors like education, content writing, administration, and corporate roles. While it may not be a placement-heavy college like some professional institutions, it offers fair exposure for students willing to put in extra effort. Workshops on resume building, interviews, and career guidance are also organized. Overall, placements depend a lot on individual initiative, but the college does provide basic support and opportunities.
I feel Maitreyi College offers good value for money. Being a Delhi University college, the fees are affordable compared to private institutions, while the quality of education remains strong. The facilities, faculty support, library resources, and academic exposure justify the fee structure. Students get access to various societies, seminars, and extracurricular activities without any extra financial burden. For someone seeking quality education at a reasonable cost, the college is a good choice. Overall, considering academics, infrastructure, and opportunities, my experience here has been worth the money spent.
Campus life at Maitreyi College is lively yet balanced. There are various societies related to culture, debate, dance, music, and academics, which allow students to explore their interests beyond studies. The college organizes fests, cultural events, and celebrations that make campus life enjoyable. At the same time, the environment remains disciplined and safe, especially for women. The campus is located in South Delhi and is well-connected, which adds to convenience. Overall, campus life here helps maintain a healthy balance between academics, social interaction, and personal growth.
The college has the most beautiful gardens and grounds. The academic buildings include a new and an old building which are well designed. Their is a canteen which offers average quality food affordable.
The academic quality is decent but I feel their could have been more practical applications and exposure the college could provide instead of just theoretical knowledge. During the course we had field c
Their are barely any placements especially for B.Sc Life Sciences. So, keep that thing in mind while selecting the college. If you want to do internships in this field then do reach out the teachers..
The academic fees is pretty low compared to other colleges.
The infrastructure of my college is really impressive and supportive for students. Our library is full of helpful books and provides a peaceful place to study..Overall, the excellent infrastructure of my college makes studying here a wonderful experience.
