The Mandya Institute of Medical Sciences (MIMS) is an Autonomous Government Medical College of the Government of Karnataka. The MIMS is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. The Mandya Institute of Medical Sciences offer various UG, PG and other Diploma courses. The MIMS offers a total of 21 courses including MBBS, MD/MS, and 6 Para Medical Courses such as Diploma in Health Inspector, Medical Laboratory Technology, Operation Theatre Technology, Medical Record Technology, Ophthalmic Technology and X-Ray Technology. Candidates are advised to check the MIMS eligibility criteria before applying to the courses as any discrepancies found later on may result in rejection of the candidature.

The MIMS admissions are based on the performance in the entrance examination as well as marks obtained in the last qualifying exam.
