The College has one Girls' Hostel. The hostel is situated on the eastern side of the college campus and equipped with all facilities. The selection for hostel seats is made on merit and reservation rules of the Govt. However, students coming from far-off places, having no available transport and communication facilities, will be given preference in the allotment of a hostel seat. Students desirous of availing of hostel accommodation will have to apply separately to the Principal along with the documents.
The college has a Gym facility for the students.
The College extends library facilities to the students and the teaching staff of the college. After getting admitted into the college a student is to apply with necessary documents to the college librarian to be a member of the college library and to get his / her borrowing cards. Students are asked to note the following points: Students in Higher Secondary classes or in Three Year Degree Classes without major in any subject: two borrowing cards will be used to each at the time of Admission. A Three Year Degree Students having Major in any subject: three borrowing cards will be used for each at the time of Admission. A student may borrow one book from the library against each card for a period not exceeding fifteen days. However, a book may reissue for another fifteen days on a special request. Any damage, defacement, or loss of a book invite disciplinary action and fine against the borrower. If a book is not returned within the due date, a borrower is to pay a fine of fifty paise per day from the due date to the date of return of the book. All library books must be returned before the test/ last terminal examination issue of admit card/mark sheets will be withheld in case of defaulting students. Books may be recalled from the borrower in case of an emergency. Rare books, manuscripts, journals, periodicals, and newspapers are not issued in any case. They can be read in the library reading room only. Library rules may be modified as and when necessary by the Library Advisory Committee. The decision of the Principal in consultation with the Library Advisory Committee regarding the functioning of the library is final.
The college has sports facilities for all students.
The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students. Since 1987, the University Grants Commission has been assisting colleges in procuring basic Information & Technology infrastructures personal computers, and other peripherals. In the X Plan, the UGC assisted them to establish “UGC NETWORK RESOURCE CENTRES (UGC-NRC)”. The objective of the scheme is to create awareness among and to give exposure to staff and students about the use of company users in various activities like administration, finance, examination, and research. For UGC Network Centre the college has developed one state-of-the-art computer lab.
Alumni of the college observed that the great friendship and sharing of ideas, memories, and reveries of the good old days of this College. It will be an occasion for alumni to explore the ‘great transformation’ of the College. The alumnus of the College takes a plan to organize a cultural evening particularly by the groups and bands of the College. The College alumni further plan to publish a Souvenir capturing the old days, thoughts, and narratives of the College. The alumni will strengthen themselves to make a mark for further transformation of this College and accordingly Society at large.
The college has good networking for the alumni association.
The college provides a laboratory facility in Botany, Chemistry, Physics, and Zoology.
