The college was established in 2009. The MEFG, Rajkot is a private university affiliated to Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad. All the courses are offered in full time mode only. The college also provides Postgraduate courses to the students.

MEFG, Rajkot PG admissions are offered to candidates who must hold a BE Degree irrespective of the subject, from a recognised board and a valid score in CMAT.
