Post Basic B.Sc Nursing is a two-year full-time program that is the undergraduate level in the nursing course offered by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot and approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate should have obtained a certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery from an institution recognized by the Punjab Nursing Council & the Indian Nursing Council situated in the state of Punjab.
The candidate should be registered as a Registered nurse and Registered Midwife (RN/RM) with the state Nursing Registration Council. A male nurse trained before the implementation of a new integrated course besides being registered as a trained nurse with the state Nurse Registration Council Shall produce evidence of having been trained in any one of the following requisite training approved by the Indian Nursing Council for a similar duration in lieu of Midwifery, O.T. Technique, Ophthalmic Nursing, Leprosy Nursing, T.B. Nursing, psychiatric Nursing, Neurological & Neuro- Surgical Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Cancer Nursing, Orthopedic Nursing.
Age: Candidate must have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December.
The candidate should be a resident of India.
Candidates should have passed the GNM examination as regular candidates from a recognized institution situated in the State of Punjab for state quota seats, wherever applicable. The candidate would be required to submit a certificate to this effect from the Principal/ Head of the Institute last attended
