Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two-year full-time undergraduate course approved by the National Council for Teachers Education (NCTE) and offered by the University of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should have passed the BA/B.Sc. Degree examination under the 10+2+3 pattern from the University of Kerala or any other University recognized by the University of Kerala. or
Double or Triple main candidates or candidates who passed the Degree Examination in Vocational or Specialized Courses are also eligible for admission. or
The minimum requirement of marks for admission to B.Ed. courses are 50% for Part III/50% in aggregate (Part I+II+III together) in Bachelor's Degree (Science/Arts subjects) or 50% marks in Post Graduation in the concerned subject.

Admission Details

50% of the seats in each optional subject are filled by the Govt. on a merit basis and the rest by management and that too on a merit basis from among the applicants for the management quota.
