24 MonthsBachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two-year full-time undergraduate course approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offered by Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for B.Ed., these necessary qualifications must be fulfilled:
- Graduation (B.Sc., B.Com, B.A) from any recognized University with a minimum 50% score.
- Master’s Degree in Science/Social Sciences/Humanities/Commerce with a minimum of 50% marks will be eligible.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Mathematics and Science, with at least 55% marks or any equivalent qualification, will also be eligible
Admission Details
- Candidates have to appear for the B.Ed. entrance test conducted by various states and institutions. The exam is usually conducted in May or June, and its form is available only online. The test is generally based on General English, Teaching Aptitude, General awareness, and Logical and Analytical Reasoning.
- There are many entrance tests conducted for teachers, such as TET (Teacher Eligibility Test), CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test), NET (National Eligibility Test), and CSIR-UGC NET, B.Ed. holds its importance over the fact that it has no maximum age limit, but only a minimum age limit of 21 years. After its completion, its Master's course, which is the Master of Education, can also be opted for. After having a B.Ed., one can also go for TET.
