MSB Arts and Commerce College, Davangere Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The alumni of the M.S.B. college are a strong community that has earned a reputation in the field of business, employment, and profession. The alumni meeting is conducted twice a year. They organize social events, publish books, and raise funds for students' welfare.

The College library was established during the year 1983. The first librarian was Mr.Thippanna.K. After his retirement, Smt. Bhagyamma.S works as the present librarian since 2001. The college library is situated on the second floor of the college premises. The Library consists of 25,093 books worth Rs. 18,46,372. The library subscribes to 15 Journals 2 E-Journals and 15 magazines. Two hundred back volumes of periodicals relating to the filing of Commerce, History, Economics, Political Science, Sociology, Kannada, and English are available along with 13 Daily Newspapers. Through the Institutional membership, more than 6000 E-journals and 97000 E-Books have been accessed under the project entitled “National Library and Information services instructor for Scholarly Content (N-LIST)” of INFLIBNET center, Gujarat.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college has sports facilities for all students.

The college has a medical Facility is provided by Bapuji Hospital.

The College provides Ten computers with 500 GB hard disks out of which two have a CD writer, one DVD writer facility 4GB RAM facility. Computers have normal keyboards with a scroll ball mouse. Five computers with 40 GB Hard disks of IBM brand, 512MB RAM facility. All five have normal Key Boards with CD Reader facilitated with an optical mouse. All the computers including the office one are LAN connected with one-hour battery backup. All the computers are accessible to the USB pen drive facility.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

The college has a Wi-Fi facility for the students and staff.
