About National Institute for Teacher Education, Khetri
The National Institute for Teacher Education Khetri was established in the year 1998 and accredited with a grade ‘B’ by NAAC. The institute is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and permitted by the Government of Assam. The NIFTE Khetri offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in education.
NIFTE Khetri is affiliated with Gauhati University, Guwahati, which is a prominent government university. Students interested in studying BEd courses at NIFTE Khetri should have completed their bachelor’s and/or master's degree in a relevant discipline. Similarly, for MEd, students should have completed their BEd or equivalent from a recognised university.
For MEd admissions, students need to clear the GU MEd entrance examinations. Admissions to NIFTE courses will be based on the scores obtained in the entrance examination and performance in past academics.
