• Candidates must appear for the GUBEDCET/ GU M.Ed entrance examination conducted by Gauhati University.

• Visit the official website of Gauhati University, gauhati.ac.in.

•  Go to the “Admission” section and select your desired programme level.

• Complete the Gauhati University registration form. A user ID and password will be sent to your registered email ID and mobile number.

• Fill out the application form with the necessary details, making sure to select NIFTE as your first choice.

• candidates should upload the necessary documents.

• Pay the course fees. 

• Review all details carefully before submitting the application form.

• To finalise the NIFTE admission process, candidates must visit the institute in person and pay the course fees.

NIFTE M.Ed Admission Procedure 2026

• Gauhati University will release an integrated merit list/rank list based on the marks obtained in the entrance exam and past academic performance.

• Shortlisted candidates are required to visit their preferred institute for the counselling process, which includes document verification.

• Then candidates must attend the counselling session.

• Submit all necessary documents as part of your application.

• To complete the NIFTE Khetri admission procedure, pay the course fees.
