NETES Institute of Pharmaceutical Science, Kamrup (NIPS) is an established education house institute in 2017. It is an affiliated college of its type, based at Santipur, Mirza, Kamrup, Assam that has pharmacy training as its pursuit. After all, NIPS has also gained the badge of quality education as it has been approved by All India Council for Technical Education, Pharmacy Council of India. The institute teaches two specialised pharmacy courses with a total student enrolment of 264. NIPS boasts a faculty strength of 23 highly professional and maintains an apt student-to-faculty ratio that ensures personal attention for every student with quality education. 

There are a range of modern facilities adequately equipping NIPS to support students' academic as well as personal progress. The institute boasts a library covering 6000 square feet, housing an impressive array of 13,000 text and reference books, 24 journals, and 3 e-journal packages. The library is the knowledge hub in the campus, opened till 8:00 PM on weekdays and Saturdays. The laboratories, spread over 25,000 square feet, are well-equipped to give students hands-on experience in various spectrums of pharmacy. NIPS provides hostel accommodation for both boys and girls on campus, offering electricity, water supply, and security personnel 24 hours a day. 

The institute provides two full-time courses in pharmacy. First, it offers a 2-year Diploma in Pharmacy or D.Pharma. This programme is offered to the students for 4 years of study within the B.Pharma degree. For both courses, the intake capacity is 60 students, meaning 60 seats to be offered in each course.

NIPS adopts a total  admissions process for its pharmacy programmes. The institute believes in diversity, and with a co-educational campus it is an institute that accommodates 70% males and 30% females as of now. 21% students hail from outside Assam, which reflects how much the institute has boosted up its reputation outside Assam, too.
