    Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine, and Surgery (BAMS) graduate degree awarded after the study of five and a half years duration, including 1-year internship, the course offered by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, and approved by National Commission For Indian System Of Medicine (NCISM).


    Eligibility Criteria

    • The eligibility to seek admission to a Bachelor of Ayurveda education shall be as under:
              The candidate shall have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination from any recognized Board with Physics, Chemistry, or Biology and have obtained a minimum of fifty percent. Marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in the case of the general category and forty percent. marks in the case of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes: Provided that in respect of persons with disability, candidates specified under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (49 of 2016), the minimum qualifying marks in the said examinations shall be forty-five percent. In the case of the General category and forty percent. in the case of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes.
    • AGE Criteria :
              No candidate shall be admitted to the B.A.M.S Degree program unless the candidate attained the age of seventeen years on or before the 31st December of the year of admission in the first year of the program and not more than twenty-five years on the 31st December of the year of admission in the first year of the program: Provided that, the upper age limit may be relaxed by five years in the case of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, and disabled candidates.

    Admission Details

    Entrance Test (NEET) for admission to undergraduate programs in each academic year shall be conducted by an authority designated by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine.
