B.Sc Computer Science at PVP College Ahmednagar Offline Course

B.Sc Computer Science is a Full-Time Three-Years Course and it is offered by Padmashri Vikhe Patil College of Arts Science and Commerce, Ahmednagar and offered by Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune.

The department had started B.Sc. Computer Science programme with nineteen students and two computers. Day by day, due to the popularity of undergraduate course and requirement of industry M.Sc. Computer Science was started in June 2000. Again uniqueness of computer with the affordability of rural youth, the need for the additional division was started in July 2006 for UG and in June 2007 for PG. Currently, it has 24 faculty members in which 02 has been awarded PhDs, 06 has qualified SET exam and 03 have qualified the NET exam. Overall 441 students are working towards their Bachelors and Masters degrees. It has 07 well-equipped laboratories with 156 computers for Computer, Mathematics and Electronics Science with proper UPS backup.

It is the scientific and practical approach to computation and its applications and systematic study of the feasibility, structure, expression, and mechanization of the methodical procedures that underlie the acquisition, representation, processing, storage, communication of, and access to, information.
